* Please read. I like the Airfield equipment and planes, but in this case, the Transmitter on/off switch got me. I knew this switch moved very easily along with the throttle stick, but in the wind today and while trying to trim my F-15 by “Braille”, it got the best of me. See what happened, and remember, if it can happen, it will. For me, is too difficult to look down at the TX when flying in extreme winds, etc., so standard transmitter ergonomics should be considered. Otherwise, you may wind up like I did today. I can’t even imagine looking down trying to see RPM and battery info, and process it, when it is hard enough just to find the trim switches and keep track of flying a very fast plane. I think the ON/OFF switches should have switch guards on them like our old Kraft Transmitters had back in the day. But what did we know then? Transmitter manufacturers should take a look at the past, so we don’t have to live with their re-inventions. You’d think by now they would have some standard configurations. I produced this video for you folks to learn from, so pay attention so you hopefully won’t do the same thing. It makes for happier flying. Best regards. Thanks for watching, and subscribing. Aurum Electronics Corp displays their new NightWatch series Safety security lights with video tracking. The combination of movement sensor, LED lights and video recording is the ultimate way to ensure the area is clear of threats. Highly recommended if you live in South Africa or similar countries where safety and security is a daily concern. The product transmits wireless to three different receivers, one is for displaying on your TV, the second plugs into your PC USB port, and the third is a portable unit which can both display on the built in LCD, or be connected to a monitor. It can show four different transmitters for one receiver on the display at the same time.
www.quantekshop.co.uk The CTX is a cloning remote control transmitter that can duplicate your existing automated gate or garage door remote control transmitter. The CTX has a learning function that copies the code of your original transmitter and stores it in its memory, when the CTX’s button is pressed it transmits that code allowing you to use it to open your automatic gates, roller shutter, garage door, barrier etc The CTX is able to copy remote control transmitters from many leading manufacturers including; Came, BFT, Beninca, Casali, DEA, Fadini, Gibidi, Nice, SEAV and Allmatic The CTX will copy (clone) any remote control transmitter operating on the 433.92 MHz radio frequency with a fixed code, this means that each time the remote control button is pressed the same code is transmitted. It is not possible to copy any remote that uses code hopping or rolling code technology because these types of remote control send a different code each time the button is pressed. The CTX has 2 buttons and each button can copy a transmitter code, so if your existing remote control has 2 buttons the CTX can duplicate both of them, you can also copy multiple remotes to the CTX so if you have a remote control for your automatic gate and another for your garage door providing they are both fixed code and operate on the 433.92 MHz radio frequency you can copy both to the CTX, this then allows you to control your gate and garage door using one remote control. A very short tour of what is now WCKY transmitter facility. At the time of this taping, this transmitter facility was for WSAI. Sometime prior, the station was WCKY. Then in 2005, the station reverted back to WCKY and another site north of Cincinnati was chosen for continued WSAI transmissions. Please visit www.j-hawkins.com
